Receiving feedback on a summary is most useful when you can connect each comment with a revision. “Make it clearer” may concern the sequence, an undefined term or a claim that extends beyond the source. Identifying the issue helps you choose the right change.

Sechenov University’s Leaders in Health Innovations programme includes research development and scientific communication. Applicants in Indonesia can practise revision with suitable educational material before enrolment.

Understand the comment before rewriting

Read the feedback and identify the passage it concerns. If the meaning is unclear, ask a focused question. Do not replace an entire paragraph before knowing whether the issue is accuracy, organisation or wording.

Return to the source when a claim is questioned. The goal is to represent it faithfully, not to defend the first version of your summary.

Revise the reasoning as well as the sentence

A confusing passage may need an intermediate explanation rather than shorter words. Ask which connection a reader must understand and provide it. If the source does not support the conclusion, narrow the conclusion instead of making it sound more authoritative.

Read the programme overview to understand the place of research within its medical and leadership education. This personal exercise is not an official admissions assignment or a substitute for supervised research.

Record what the revision taught you

Keep a short note of the change and why it helped. You may notice a habit of introducing terms too late or treating an inference as a reported result. Use that observation when drafting the next summary.
