Sechenov Leaders Program Admission: Where to Find the 2026 Rules
Anyone researching Sechenov Leaders program admission will find plenty of summaries online, and not all of them are current. For applicants in Indonesia planning a medical degree in Moscow, the reliable approach is simple: read the rules on the university’s own pages and confirm anything unclear with the admissions office. Below is a short guide to those official sources and what each one is for.

The university’s 2026 admission campaign page
General information about the 2026 intake is published by Sechenov University at https://www.sechenov.ru/admissions/priemnaya-kampaniya-2026/. Treat it as the primary reference for the current cycle. Procedures and timing are set by the university, so we do not reproduce them here: a copy on a third-party site can quickly fall out of date, while the campaign page is maintained by the institution itself.
The program site and the three-step route
The Leaders in Health Innovations program, a six-year General Medicine degree taught in English and leading to the Medical Doctor qualification, has its own site at https://healthleaders.sechenov.ru/. It outlines the route to enrollment in three stages:
- Submitting documents. This can be done in person in Moscow, by post to 119991, Moscow, GSP-1, 8 Trubetskaya Street, Building 2, or online via the Gosuslugi public services portal.
- Entrance tests. There are two, both in test format: chemistry, which is the priority subject, and Russian language as the additional one.
- Contract and payment. Once the education contract is signed and payment is made, the applicant becomes a student of the program.
A condensed version is available in our program overview and in the admissions section of this site.
Rules for entering Russia
Admission and entry to the country are separate matters, and both need attention. The university explains entry requirements on its welcome site at https://welcome.sechenov.ru/en/migration-support/. It is worth reading early, because travel arrangements can take longer than the academic paperwork.
Reaching the admissions office
When a rule seems ambiguous, ask the people who apply it. The admissions office can be called on +7 (495) 622-98-20, and the university call center on +7 (495) 609-14-00. The office is located at 119048, Moscow, 8 Trubetskaya Street, Building 2. Every channel is also collected on our contacts page.
